The 4th International Nepalese Thangka Art Exhibition by MCAF in Melbourne, AustraliaMCAF exhibited around 250 Nepalese Traditional Thangka Paintings from 9th to 11th Nov. 2011 at Xavier College, Melbourne, Australia. It's been successfully exhibited by MCAF representative and Vice-President Jeevan Lama and was organized by Xavier College, Melbourne as to raise fund for MCAF charity. MCAF's Free Health Camp benefits local people of a rural village Lapsiphedi.On 8th September 2011, Health Camp at Jaharsingh Pauwa, Lapsiphedi Village Organized by MCAF benefited more than 300 local villagers of this region. Though the camp started a while late than the previous scheduled time, it went very smoothly with the help of local volunteers and enthusiasts of the Medial crew and organizers. Read more....

MCAF Winter Projects 2010We have recently completed winter projects with World Challenge Australian Teams. Overall we have been finding our projects very successful. After getting ScholarshipsBefore moving to the ophange, Sabina lived in a poor resettlement area in the Eatern District of Nepal. Although her mother, Maya Tamang, worked as a maid, her earnings were too meager to support the day to day needs of her children. She was always worried about the safety of her daughter while she was away at work. Read more....

Looking for support to Susmita.Susmita Tamang is one of MCAF's youngest scholars in eastern district of Nepal. She grew up in Khotang District, a low-income rural area's family. When she was 3 years old her father passed way. Read more....

Suka Laxmi Tamang, MCAF to Grow Girls Scholar from NepalSuka Laxmi is eight years old. She loves to dance, sing, and read storybooks. She is a shy and well-disciplined girl both at home and in school. In the future, she hopes to be a teacher and impact other children's lives for the better. Read more....

Objectives
  1. The major objectives of MCAF is to conduct various trainings of economic generating skills like thangka painting, weaving, sewing, cutting and trimming etc. to impoverished women. This will relieve them from problems of poverty and raise their living standards.
  2. To provide a home and schooling facility for child labors, disables, street children and orphans, as well as to the children of lower class families who are under the poverty line.Read More..
