Education is the portal to overall development in the long- run. But Nepal’s literacy rate is just 53.74%. Many Children don’t get chance to go School because of their parent’s weak economic condition. The children need to work in the fields to support their parents as soon as they reach 6-7 years. Some work as child labors in industries, factories and restaurant. Our government does not have the resources to educate all children. So MCAF has initiated a child sponsorship program that will provide education to many children who would not otherwise attend school. Your generous support in sponsorship can create a wonderful opportunity for a child in poverty to succeed in life.
Mother and Children art foundation spends approximate $ 60 per month on each child. This money is spent on their Accommodation, education, food, medical treatments, clothing, etc.
General donations are welcome, as even the smallest amounts make an immense difference in the lives of our children.
Still many children haven’t got sponsor and as a result the pressure to meet monthly bills is surmounting.
In order to avoid jealousy or ill feelings amongst the children sponsors are described to children as their friends or in fact their big sisters or brothers from abroad. While the children don't put a monetary value to this relationship they cherish the letters they receive and the knowledge that someone in the world cares about them.
-›› What can I expect as a Sponsor
Sponsoring a child can be a very rewarding experience and we encourage our sponsors to keep in touch with their sponsored child and enjoy a cultural exchange. Our sponsors are making a real difference in the lives of the children they choose to help.
-›› How do I become a sponsor?
While it costs around $ 60 per month to care for a child we ask sponsors to send a minimum $ 40 per month in order to be the sponsor of a child. General donations are welcome, as even the smallest amounts make an immense difference in the lives of our children.
We request to send budget monthly to the sponsors to minimize their problems.
